Job description
KE1Ginger SOFRECO is expanding its network of senior experts for an upcoming EU-funded technical assistance assignment in Indonesia: the EU-Indonesia Cooperation Facility II (EUICF II).
The facility aims to strengthen the EU-Indonesia partnership by supporting policy dialogue, Global Gateway delivery, investment mobilisation, climate and environmental cooperation, and technical assistance across priority areas of mutual interest. The project is expected to be implemented over 36 months, primarily in Jakarta, with missions in Indonesia and, to a lesser extent, EU Member States.
We are seeking a highly qualified Team Leader (TL) with strong experience in international cooperation, EU-funded technical assistance, stakeholder coordination, and policy dialogue facilitation, preferably with proven working experience in or with Indonesia.
Project duration: 36 months
TL (estimated 660 FTE)
Qualifications
The Team Leader will support the implementation of a flexible cooperation facility covering three main areas:
- EU-Indonesia policy dialogue and institutional cooperation
- Global Gateway delivery, including investment climate, business environment, energy transition, education and research
- Climate action, biodiversity, environmental management, resilience, sustainable natural resources and green transition
The Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Leading, planning, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of all facility actions in Indonesia
- Preparing and coordinating flexible work plans aligned with EU-Indonesia priorities
- Supporting institutional partners in drafting Terms of Reference for specific actions
- Facilitating exchanges between EU and Indonesian institutional stakeholders
- Supporting formal and informal policy dialogues, peer-to-peer exchanges, workshops and consultations
- Supervising and coordinating non-key experts and technical assistance assignments
- Supporting the Advisory Group and relevant steering mechanisms
- Ensuring delivery of high-quality technical assistance, studies, capacity building and stakeholder engagement activities.
