Areas of expertise

Ginger SOFRECO adopts a strategic and targeted approach to key areas of public health. With regard to communicable diseases, we leverage our expertise to bolster vulnerable regions by enhancing their diagnostic and treatment systems. In the field of non-communicable diseases, we are committed to improving access to quality care for chronic diseases by developing innovative organisational models for integrated care. We are actively involved in nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), developing multisectoral policies and strategic frameworks to improve nutrition in maternal and child health programmes, thereby contributing to a comprehensive and sustainable approach to health.

Challenges and prospects

Challenges and prospects

The epidemiological transition, marked by an increase in chronic diseases and an ageing population, is a major challenge for the adaptation of health systems. At Ginger SOFRECO, we take this change into account in the design and implementation of our projects. We focus on strengthening prevention capacities, promoting integrated care and long-term management of non-communicable diseases.

This transition requires a multidimensional approach. It involves the revision of financing policies to ensure optimal resource allocation, a reorganisation of primary healthcare to improve the accessibility and quality of services, and last but not least, strategic human resource planning to meet the needs of populations.

We support our clients through this essential transformation. Our goal is to build healthcare systems that are more sustainable, resilient and focused on the current and future needs of populations. By working closely with stakeholders, we aim to create innovative and tailored solutions, thereby ensuring better health for all people.
