Ginger SOFRECO is a regular technical partner of international funding agencies and governments. We support low- and middle-income countries in implementing development projects to fight poverty and promote sustainable economic development.
As a development operator, we mobilise our expertise through technical assistance, studies and capacity strengthening missions with the aim of contributing to the local-level achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as defined by the 2030 Agenda.
Adopted by the United Nations in 2015, following on from the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the 17 SDGs aim to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and promote inclusive and environmentally-friendly growth. Their implementation depends on international cooperation and the mobilisation of all stakeholders — including governments, businesses, NGOs, and citizens — in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, governance, and natural resource management. This is necessary in order to bring about major transitions in response to the major challenges of our time.
