I was recruited by Ginger SOFRECO in May 2021 as a consultant for the NELACEP project in Niger. At Ginger SOFRECO, I appreciated the sense of responsibility in decision-making as well as the autonomy in managing the mission. 

Ginger SOFRECO helped me to develop other skills (financial and administrative management, and mission staff management) as Head of Mission. With proven experience (more than 10 years) in works supervision, Ginger SOFRECO offered me a position as coordinator on an assistance mission. This career change allowed me to discover other skills, particularly that of project management.

Several missions have made a particular impression on me, particularly in the energy and PPP sectors, which have significantly improved the development framework for renewable energy projects in Benin, Senegal, and currently Zanzibar.

I am an Independent Consultant in Procurement, Contracts and Litigation, as well as a FIDIC Expert. I have been working with Ginger SOFRECO for over fifteen years on various projects in a dozen countries, especially in the fields of green energy, renewable energy and electrification. It is always a pleasure to work in a sector full of cultural exchanges alongside a young, dynamic and cheerful team committed to advancing ecology and human development.

As an energy sector expert, I was given the opportunity to work with Ginger SOFRECO on a project to promote energy efficiency and energy access in Senegal. This partnership stood out for its constructive teamwork and the strong commitment of all stakeholders to achieve the best possible results.

Two decades of work with Ginger SOFRECO! Successful projects in about thirty countries! What I appreciate most, besides the expertise of Ginger SOFRECO's team, is the spirit and style of its managers. They are always available and have a remarkable ability to manage crises and put a smile on the faces of clients and experts alike. One example is the ECOWAS Master Plan. It took four years (instead of 18 months!) to reach a consensus between 15 countries and funding agencies, while staying "close" to the budget. In the end, the project was endorsed by the 15 ECOWAS African Heads of State. Patience, dialogue, empathy and competence are what I like about SOFRECO.

Working with SOFRECO Company is not only interesting, but also useful. Over the years of working on this project, firstly, I improved my knowledge of the English language , learned to work with numbers, learnt how to perform work in multitasking mode, and most importantly, our multinational team became our common family.

After more than 15 years, it is difficult to list all the rewards I have gained from working at Ginger SOFRECO et Ginger INTERNATIONAL, where I started as a Technical Assistance Mission Coordinator for the financing of health development initiatives through cooperation between the European Union and African countries. With Ginger SOFRECO et Ginger INTERNATIONAL, I discovered Morocco, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, DRC Congo, Chad and the Indian Ocean islands (Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles).

Working with Ginger SOFRECO et Ginger INTERNATIONAL has helped me develop an interesting approach to coordinating project objectives, resources, activities and expected results, which enabled me to design projects tailored to various environments to achieve results that meet beneficiaries' expectations.

The workplace is inspiring for expressing ideas and knowledge that lead to concrete achievements for the benefit of the end users, who are the most vulnerable members of society.
