Areas of expertise

Depending on the needs and type of assignment entrusted to us — whether it be project management assistance (PMA), project management (PM) or a design-build contract — our services cover all stages of hospital and social infrastructure development. They may include needs analysis, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, the definition of functional and technical programmes, waste management, support for the recruitment of project managers and construction companies, and the monitoring of construction or renovation sites. We also support the procurement and installation of biomedical equipment and start-up operations, provide training for health personnel and assistance with certification or accreditation for facilities, and, when required, we provide management delegation.

Our approach pays particular attention to environmental issues, whether it be assessing the environmental and social impacts of projects or integrating energy performance and sustainability criteria into the design of healthcare buildings.

Dedicated teams

While capitalising on our in-house expertise, we have the capacity to recruit and mobilise experts in various fields related to hospital planning and operations (programmers, hospital architects, HVAC experts, civil and structural engineers, planners, biomedical engineers, healthcare financing experts, etc.). Whenever necessary, we partner with companies specialising in various fields (hospital management training, engineering, architectural design, etc.) at both the global and local levels, in addition to the many companies within the GINGER Group.

Challenges and prospects

Considering environmental issues in healthcare projects

Environmental issues are at the heart of the health projects carried out by Ginger SOFRECO.

We strive to limit the ecological impact of healthcare infrastructure by systematically incorporating environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs) from the design phase onwards.

The energy efficiency of buildings and the sustainable management of water, biomedical waste and natural resources are priorities in our approach. We support the transition to greener hospitals by promoting the adoption of sustainable construction standards and low-carbon technical solutions. This approach contributes to the resilience of healthcare systems in the face of climate challenges.
