Agro-pastoral Value Chains Project in the Governorate of Medenine ( 2017 - 2020 )
This mission provides methodological and organisational assistance to the Programme Management Unit in order to achieve PRODEFIL’s objectives. Technical support is provided in the fields of territorial governance, training-action, the development of agro-pastoral value chains, support to private economic initiatives, and the development of SMEs.
Support to the Agricultural Small and Medium Enterprises Project (SASME) ( 2017 - 2021 )
The Consultant is providing global project management support for the SASME project, assisting the National Project Coordination Unit (NPCU) in the overall management and coordination of the activities of the SASME Project. The objective of this project is to improve access to finance for agricultural SMEs via the Agricultural Development Programme (MALR credit fund body) by:
- increasing Agricultural Development Programme lending through the creation of an additional fund dedicated to SMEs;
- providing technical assistance to key stakeholders in agricultural finance;
- increasing SME absorption capacity by establishing an agricultural credit guarantee scheme;
- improving the productive efficiency of the dairy sector and marine aquaculture sector and the efficient use of the resources allocated to them;
- addressing cross-cutting issues.
Identification and design of a programme to support job creation in the agriculture sector in Kenya ( 2018 - 2018 )
The purposes of this contract are as follows:
- to design an Action Document
- to ensure that the proposed programme design is aligned with the Government of Kenya's priorities, policies and programmes, and is complementary to other development partners' (in particular EU Member States') initiatives
- to assess the conditions under which EU aid will have a structural impact by transforming agriculture and creating meaningful job opportunities for youth and women in Kenya.

Technical assistance to a laboratory specialised in agricultural products for export to bring it up to standard in terms of competence and the quality management of analyses and sampling: diagnosis and action plan, technical and organisational training, study trip to Reunion, mock audit and conclusions for the application for accreditation.
Formulation of technical studies for the development of hydro-agricultural infrastructures and small hydraulic works ( 2019 - 2020 )
Preparation of technical studies (preliminary design, detailed preliminary study, bidding documents for works), and development of ToR for the technical assistance to monitor the works for hydro-agricultural infrastructures and small hydraulic works, evaluated at €14.2 million.
Mid-term evaluation of the Food and Nutrition Security programme in Bangladesh 2015 ( 2019 - 2020 )
The Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) programme 2015 aims to improve nutrition and to promote a sustainable food security system resilient to increasing climate change-related challenges in Bangladesh.
The programme was made up of 3 components and 6 projects:
- Component 1 (EUR 8 M): Meeting the undernutrition challenge (MUCH), 01/2017-12/2020;
- Component 2 (EUR 35 M): Ending the cycle of undernutrition in Bangladesh (SUCHANA), 01/2017-12/2022;
- Component 3 (EUR 35 M): Leadership to ensure adequate nutrition (LEAN), Sustained opportunities for nutrition governance (SONGO), Joint action for nutrition outcome (JANO), and Bangladesh initiative to enhance nutrition security and governance (BlenGS), 09/2018-08/2023.
Mid-Term Review of the Afikepo and Kulima Programmes ( 2020 - 2021 )
Evaluation of the intermediate results of the Afikepo programme (€74.55 m), which seeks to enhance nutrition security by 1) increasing and diversifying dietary intake of safe and nutritious foods, and 2) increasing the use of enhanced nutrition knowledge and awareness and hygiene practices, and of the Kulima programme (€111 m), which seeks “Sustainable agricultural growth promoted” through 1) increased agricultural productivity and diversified production, 2) the development or establishment of agricultural value chains and employment opportunities, and 3) strengthened agriculture sector governance.
HIV/AIDS situation assessment – Health and Population Programme ( 2001 - 2001 )
Assessed the HIV/AIDS situation and the epidemic’s impact on the medical, social and economic development of the country, and proposed a strategy to strengthen the current surveillance systems.
Training Programme for Laboratory Technicians ( 2000 - 2000 )
Implemented a training programme for 16 hospital laboratory technicians working in district hospital laboratories in the provinces of Guera and Tandjile as part of the Health and Safe Motherhood Project.
