Ginger SOFRECO assesses the pedagogical and institutional capacity of two Colleges in St Lucia, Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) and the National Skills Development Centre (NSDC), under the OECS Skills and Innovation Project. The assignment supports alignment between post-secondary education and labour market needs. It examines governance, academic quality, teaching practices, and quality assurance. The team also evaluates EMIS, student services, and private sector engagement. Findings inform targeted recommendations and a capacity development plan. The goal is to strengthen institutional performance and foster innovation in education across the OECS.
Alignment of the higher education and scientific research sector with the needs of the socio-economic sector ( 2025 - 2026 )
The objective of the mission is to contribute to a sustainable transformation of the higher education and scientific research system in Algeria, in order to better align it to national development and labour market needs. It aims to strengthen the quality of training, improve the efficiency and credibility of accreditation processes, stimulate scientific innovation and promote greater recognition of research through structured partnerships with socio-economic stakeholders. This mission thus aims to support graduate employability, promote applied research in response to concrete challenges and consolidate the institutional capacities necessary to carry out major systemic reforms.

The main objective of the mission is to increase access to training opportunities in technical skills development and entrepreneurship for young people, with a focus on women and refugees. The revised training programmes are designed to meet the needs of the labour market, thus ensuring consistency between the skills acquired in training establishments and corporate labour requirements.
Development of Student Assessment System ( 2024 - 2026 )
The assignment focuses on designing and supporting the implementation of Belize's National Student Assessment System to measure and monitor student and school performance, with a view to improving teaching and learning. Our consortium is developing a policy for assessments at the primary and secondary levels, creating tools like item banks and marking guidelines aligned with the curriculum, and designing an integrated management system compatible with existing education data platforms. Our consortium is also responsible for piloting the system in 2024–2025, using both paper and computer-adaptive tests, while engaging stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and sustainability.
Management and regulation of disputes in public procurement ( 2025 - 2025 )
The objective of this assignment, organised in Clichy, France, was to strengthen the capacities of two members of the Central Coordination Office of the Ministry of Finance of the Democratic Republic of Congo (BCECO) on issues relating to the management and regulation of disputes in public procurement.

This five-day tailor-made training course, held in Clichy, France, aimed to strengthen the skills of two female officials from Madagascar's Ministry of Economy and Finance, responsible for monitoring expenditure under the AFD-funded Common Education Fund, on the theme of ''Internal control within public bodies''.
At the end of the training, the participants strengthened their skills in expenditure control and benefited from personalised support in the form of an action plan designed to directly address the various issues identified in previous audit reports of the Common Education Fund.
