Capitalisation exercise related to the works on the health facilities of the Project of Support for Health Supply and Demand (PAODES) and the Project of Support on Health Governance (PAGOSAN) ( 2017 - 2017 )
The objective of this capitalisation process was to learn from the programme of construction/rehabilitation of health structures, medical equipment supply and maintenance of constructed or rehabilitated sites through the Project of Support for Health Supply and Demand (PAODES) and the Project of Support on Health Governance (PAGOSAN), to identify successes and failures and to derive recommendations for future action.

The objective of this contract is to provide specialised technical support in the field of hospital constructions in ENABEL’s various health sector projects using our expertise.
Beyond the conventional architecture and engineering aspects inherent to the construction of all buildings, hospitals require specific expertise related to: the definition of needs and spatial planning, taking account of the health map; the organisation of the different departments in a hospital (maternity, paediatrics, operating theatre, emergency, etc.), and the integration of specific biomedical equipment taking account of their characteristics and specific needs.

The mission’s main objective was to undertake a mid-term evaluation of the Cold Chain Equipment Strengthening project within the framework of the Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI). This project falls within the scope of the Vietnamese national EPI strategy for the period 2006-2010. Its overall objective is to secure health benefits via the strengthening of the EPI. The specific objective is to strengthen the National EPI of the Ministry of Health through cold chain equipment and maintenance management support.
Provision of health specialists for the Poverty Reduction and MDG Acceleration Program (PRMAP) ( 2008 - 2009 )
The Poverty Reduction and MDG Acceleration Program (PRMAP) supports the Government of Indonesia (GoI) in its commitment towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in education and health, and contributes to the GoI’s poverty reduction agenda, and gender equality efforts.
The technical assistance complements the PRMAP by directly supporting the achievement of national policy objectives aimed at improving the access, efficiency and performance of government programmes in the health sector.

Greater Mekong Subregion Health Security Project – Project Preparatory Technical Assistance (PPTA) ( 2015 - 2016 )
Technical assistance for the preparation (formulation) of a regional project. The project to be identified focuses on communicable diseases and targets underserved areas with a high poverty incidence, and on migrant and mobile populations. The team was composed of 8 international experts and 5 national experts in each country.
Evaluation of the Poverty Reduction Scheme in Central Asia ( 2007 - 2007 )
This evaluation aimed to improve the European Commission’s poverty reduction scheme in Central Asia. More specifically, the project aimed to review the aid provided by the EC to Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan) in the form of a poverty reduction scheme within the framework of the TACIS programme. The period under analysis was from 2002 to 2007. Recommendations for the future programme's design and implementation were made taking into account the compliance with the new Development and Cooperation Instrument.
