Description du poste

The contract will deliver targeted technical assistance and capacity-building to
advance priority PFM reforms and integrity safeguards, thereby strengthening the results and impact
of the EU’s wider cooperation portfolio, including Global Gateway and Team Europe Initiatives. It
will also support and inform EU policy dialogue with the Government, complement relevant PFM
initiatives in Bangladesh (including regional and partner-led programmes), and help ensure the
effective deployment of EU instruments such as budget support. Finally, it will reinforce
coordination with EU Member States, IFIs and other development actors to promote coherent
messaging, sequencing and risk management around PFM and governance reforms.

The intended start date is 1 October 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48
months from this date.

Qualification

Qualifications and skills: 
1.1 A Master’s degree in statistics, data science, mathematics or another relevant field (or, in the
case of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant professional experience). 
1.2 Excellent command of oral and written English (C1).

General professional experience:
2.1 At least 7 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modelling and/or quantitative
research in the public sector.

Specific professional experience: 
3.1 Development and enhancement of data systems: At least 5 years of experience designing
and implementing statistical data-collection systems/surveys and/or data quality assurance processes
within the public sector.
3.2 Regional experience (asset): Previous experience in data management/statistics in
developing countries will be an advantage.

Availability and level of effort: Key Expert 2 must be available for the full duration of the Technical
Assistance and shall provide a minimum of 704 working days of input (0.8 FTE).
