Consultancy Services for the Fish Aggregating Device (FAD) deployment in order to benefit artisanal fishers along the Zambézia+ coast ( 2024 - 2025 )
The aim of the project is to conduct a feasibility study into the deployment of Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) to benefit artisanal fishermen along the Zambezi coast, in line with Mozambican regulations and MCC environmental guidelines.
The feasibility study consists of a programmatic environmental and social impact assessment, and an assessment of the economic impact of introducing this activity in the area. If feasibility is proven, a pilot project to deploy 10 FADs should be proposed over the period 2025-2030.
