The overall objective of the programme is to support the health sector reform in the priority public health fields identified in the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD). The services consisted in providing technical assistance to support the Romanian Ministry of Health in setting up a well-functioning monitoring information system for non-communicable diseases, including cancer, in order to support the public health evidence based policy making.
