Development of a five-year operational strategy (2026–2030) for the implementation of the National Employment Policy in Burundi

The assignment aims to develop the 2026–2030 operational strategy for implementing Burundi’s National Employment Policy, with a view to translating national guidelines into concrete, coherent, measurable and achievable actions. It comprises an in-depth assessment of the labour market and institutional capacities, participatory consultations with key stakeholders, and the prioritisation of interventions. It will result in the formulation of the strategy, a detailed and budgeted five-year action plan, and a monitoring, evaluation and governance framework. The assignment also includes organising feedback and validation workshops, finalising the deliverables and supporting their adoption by national stakeholders.
