Ginger SOFRECO, in partnership with 3E, is supporting two Palestinian public water operators (Tubas and Jenin) in the preparation and development of two wind farms and a solar power plant, aimed at reducing their energy costs and increasing their autonomy.

The consortium, in collaboration with a local partner, has carried out two in-depth feasibility studies, including a wind measurement campaign and solar radiation data collection. This first phase is followed by the preparation of tender documents and support for the operators in selecting construction companies.

By placing renewable production at the heart of their energy strategy, the project is part of a sustainable transition towards more resilient, autonomous and efficient public water services.
