The ‘Support to the Vocational Training Reform Programme in Egypt - Phase II’ (TVET II) programme, co-financed by the Government of Egypt and the European Union, aimed to improve the structure and performance of the vocational training system in order to better respond to Egypt's new socio-economic needs and, in particular, to increase the employability of young people and boost the country's competitiveness. Our technical assistance focused on strengthening the capacities of key ministries and the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) for the design and dissemination of the National Qualifications Framework.
