The Government of the Republic of The Gambia obtained an advance fund from the World Bank for the preparation of a Sub-Saharan Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend Project (SWEDD). The SWEDD target audience analysis (including key informant interviews and focus group discussions) aims  at: understanding the knowledge, attitudes, practices and social norms, developing a SWEDD Social and Behaviour Change Communication Plan (SBCC), designing messages and developing communication support materials and tools and pre-testing messages and materials with target audiences in The Gambia.
