The objective was to ensure an effective transition of the financing and management of medicine supplies from the Global Fund (GF) to the SNAME in the DRC.
- Gradual integration of parallel supply and distribution systems within the SNAME framework.
- Transfer of responsibility for the procurement, storage and distribution of essential medicines to national institutions (FEDECAME).
- Establishment of a multi-stakeholder monitoring committee (PNAM, Global Fund, European Union and funding agencies).
- Technical assistance to ensure coordination and optimisation of the transfer process.
