Technical Assistance to the ECOWAS Commission for the Study on the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Highway ( 2020 - 2025 )
Ginger SOFRECO is providing technical assistance to the ECOWAS Commission for the coordination and management of studies (technical, environmental and social) for the future Abidjan-Lagos regional motorway, which is a major economic corridor stretching over 1,000 km.
This technical assistance provides technical, financial and legal expertise to ensure that deliverables comply with regional requirements and African Development Bank standards, that the approaches adopted along the corridor are consistent, and that standards (traffic, technical design and road safety) are harmonised between the five countries involved. The mission includes supervising traffic, road safety and environmental and social impact studies, as well as assistance with the legal and institutional structuring of a PPP management model.
