Technical assistance for the implementation of the project for the development of vocational education, training and occupational integration (DEFI-PRO)

The technical assistance project aimed to provide support (general project management and technical support) to the project owner of the DEFI-Pro programme, which aimed to contribute to the economic and social development of Benin by strengthening the provision of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) tailored to the labour market, in order to help reduce social and territorial inequalities. This involved:
- Component 1: Strengthening and modernising the infrastructure and equipment of TVET institutions;
- Component 2: Improving and sustaining the quality of technical and vocational training for better employability of learners; and
- Component 3: Strengthening governance and steering mechanisms.
