Technical assistance within the framework of the Franco-Belgian support programme in the 5th region of Mali, worth EUR 16 million, aiming at improving the population’s health. Three fields of intervention were selected: improving the quality of care and strengthening social cover in the 5th region (including the construction of a new hospital for Mopti); reducing cultural and financial barriers to access to care in the region; developing the management capacities of the regional health system.
