Technical assistance to Tax Administration

Within the framework of preparation for the country’s integration into the European Union: (i) support for the setting up of a modern tax administration, capable of applying the acquis communautaire through: the introduction of a strategic direction and management system; the improvement of management, organisation, communication and information practices, support for legislation reform; (ii) improvement of control and enforcement strategy and procedures, to increase tax compliance and detect and deal with fraud in conformity with European good practice.
