Global objective: Support the Georgian administration in drafting the customs legislation necessary for the implementation of the new customs code.
Specific Objectives:
- Elaboration of secondary legislation in line with EU legislation;
- Harmonisation of customs procedures and working methods in conformity with EU best practices to facilitate trade and data exchange;
- Support in the elaboration of the Terms of Reference, the tendering, evaluation and start-up of the upcoming TACIS Project “TA to secondary customs legislation and Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary (SPS) controls”.
