Health Care in the Central Highlands II ( 2012 - 2012 )
The services consist in project preparatory technical assistance (PPTA) to develop a health project in the Central Highlands suitable for ADB funding in terms of technical, financial, economic, institutional, sector policy, legal, and safeguard contexts, in conjunction with the country partnership strategy, operational experience, and lessons from evaluations of previous projects.
The ensuing Project will comprise the following outputs: 1) facilities and equipment upgraded, 2) quality human resources developed, 3) financing of health services strengthened, 4) demand for health services improved, and 5) management of health services improved.
Capacity Building within the MoH for the Implementation of Healthcare Reforms ( 2011 - 2012 )
The Programme aims to support the MoH in the development of an Action Plan for the Health Sector Strategy (HSS) and its implementation, including regular monitoring of HSS progress. The objective is to strengthen administration capacities to conceptualise the main elements of the healthcare reform in Kosovo.
Fighting HIV/AIDS in Asia and the Pacific ( 2010 - 2013 )
The overall project objective was to prevent the spread of HIV along the Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway during and after the construction stage and to mitigate the increased risk of illicit drug use and human trafficking that could result from the Project in the five regions of Vinh Phuc, Phu To, Yen Bai, Lao Cai and Hanoi.
The TA consisted in the implementation of three components:
- Advocacy and capacity building;
- An information, education and behaviour change campaign;
- The provision of medical packages.

Outsourcing Outpatient Drug Benefit Scheme ( 2018 - 2019 )
The OPDBS project is part of the first component of the Kosovo Health Project (KHP) aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Health Insurance Fund (HIF) to implement mandatory health insurance and to improve the quality and efficiency of health services, as part of the reform of the mandatory health insurance in Kosovo.
The main objectives of the project Outsourcing Outpatient Drug Benefit Scheme is to provide the MoH and HIF with the technical assistance to efficiently establish, sustain and implement the Kosovo outpatient drug benefit scheme, in order to ensure access to quality and affordable medicines to the entire population of Kosovo and thus decrease the out-of-pocket spending related to the purchase of medicines in the country.
Technical Assistance to Regional Capacity Development for Strengthening Resilience to Climate Change in the Health Sector in the Greater Mekong Subregion (formerly Mitigating Human Impact of Climate Change) ( 2016 - 2020 )
