Health system strengthening project to conduct and institutionalise the National Health Accounts (NHA) ( 2020 - 2021 )
The Government of Saint Lucia (GOSL) has obtained financing from the World Bank (WB) under the health system strengthening project aimed at supporting the GOSL’s initiative to improve the accessibility, efficiency, and responsiveness of health services. The health system strengthening project is geared towards strengthening the health sector both on the demand and the supply sides.
The objective of this assignment is to provide technical assistance to develop and institutionalise National Health Accounts, with the aim of understanding the magnitude and pattern of health spending in the economy and the nature and flow of funds within the health care system.
External mid-term evaluation of the Health Sector Development Plan 2017-2021 ( 2020 - 2020 )
The objective of the project is to carry out a mid-term evaluation of the 2017-2021 Health Sector Development Plan (HSDP) and to draft recommendations in order to positively reorient the implementation of the HSDP during the 2020-2021 period and to provide input for the design of the future HSDP.
The team evaluated the results of the implementation of 3 programmes and 28 sub-programmes interlinked to the 6 strategic components of the health system strengthening under the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health, and the strategic coordination and supervision of the Secretary General for the continuation of the sector-wide approach initiated several years ago.

General study to design scenarios for implementing a mandatory health insurance scheme for the self-employed ( 2011 - 2014 )
This study fell within the framework of the basic medical cover reform in Morocco, and aimed to design a mandatory health insurance scheme for the self-employed, representing approximately 10 million Moroccans who did not currently enjoy health cover comparable to that provided for public servants and employees.
The scheme was to be designed subsequent to substantial data collection, analysis work and the development of demographic and actuarial forecasts. This work should enable the establishment of a health insurance scheme meeting the requirements of universality, equity, solidarity and sustainability.

The assessment covered the: (i) political situation, (ii) legislative framework, (iii) election administration, (iv) human rights and fundamental freedoms, (v) media, (vi) voter registration, (vii) party and candidate registration, (viii) security aspects, (ix) logistics and operational matters and any other relevant issues relating to the elections and possible deployment of an Election Observation Mission of the European Union.
