Technical Assistance to the African Union Commission for the African Energy Policy Agenda (hydropower 2020), Capacity Building Actions and Strategy for the Development of the Inga Hydropower Site ( 2011 - 2012 )
Within the framework of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership, a number of priority infrastructure projects have been identified, including the development of hydropower in Africa, particularly from the Inga basin in the DRC.
The project aims to support the African Union Commission (AUC) in policy matters within the framework of the 2020 Hydropower Initiative, through institution- and policy-related assistance to the AUC, and the preparation and promotion of the development of the Inga III and Grand Inga projects.
