Design of a large scale health project integrating interventions related to the offer and demand of health care, through the promotion of health micro-insurance, as well as to the provision of institutional support to the MoH at central and provincial level. Definition of operational activities to improve the delivery of health care in one province (Takeo) and the capital (Phnom Penh) through a micro-insurance scheme. Design of the institutional support to the MoH in the areas of human resources, hospital policy, prevention of HIV/AIDS and maternal health. Definition of the operational modalities of the project's implementation, including financial and administrative issues and the responsibilities of the various actors.

Assessed the pre-election situation in the light of international standards for democratic elections and Tanzanian legislation. The assessment covered the: (i) political situation, (ii) legislative framework, (iii) election administration, (iv) human rights and fundamental freedoms, (v) media, (vi) voter registration, (vii) party and candidate registration, (viii) security aspects, (ix) logistics and operational matters, and any other relevant issues relating to the elections and the possible deployment of an Election Observation Mission of the European Union.

- Analysis of the situation and identification of health human resource (HHR) problems in Madagascar.
- Proposal of several scenarios in line with the State's financial capacity and training institutes’ capacity to produce HHR.
- Definition of the strategic focuses of the PNDRHS and of the related components prioritised and adopted by the stakeholders.
- Validation of the PNDRHS document plan by the stakeholders.
- Drawing up of the first draft of the PNDRHS and dissemination to the stakeholders.

Provision of technical assistance to the Kabul Medical University and the Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences with the following purposes:
- Upgrading the nutrition curricula in the existing professional diplomas of nurses and midwives and training of teachers in the new curricula
- Revision of the nutrition curricula in the bachelor degrees for medical doctors, nurses and the public health postgraduate programme of the Kabul Medical University.
- Creation of specific nutrition diplomas under the public health postgraduate programme at Kabul Medical University and at the Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences.

The purposes of this contract are as follows:
• To train key decision-makers of university hospitals, public capital investment institutions and relevant stakeholders on blended finance investment preparation (capital demand) and appraisal (capital supply) for tertiary hospitals.
• To assist the Medical Hub Development project in cost estimation analysis.
• To prepare bankable feasibility studies for the development of 3 UCH medical hubs including international standard tertiary medical services.

Summary, adaptation and updating of the existing Hospital Master Plan (HMP) with particular attention to the implementation strategy, especially the HR plan;
Provision of a reliable health care model for the entire population;
Assessment of the needs to achieve the rationalisation of the system in the long run and political feasibility;
Development of a regional approach to secondary health care services, especially the development of emergency services.

Support to and promotion of the Moroccan Ministry of Health’s (MoH) institutional and hospital reform project; contribution to strengthening health monitoring and safety; establishment of a national accreditation programme for MoH public health laboratories within the framework of the quality assurance national plan; and promotion of the development project for technical and scientific research within the health system.

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the health status of the Surinamese population (including the specific population living along the Maroni river). A public health expert will assist the MoH for the improvement of the quality of health services throughout the country and the development of cross-border cooperation.
