The TA will conduct the rapid assessment of the previous Health Sector Strategic Master Plan (HSSMP) 2005-2015, organise thematic working groups that will work on key priority areas and produce supporting documents, including essential and complimentary service packages and midterm frameworks, namely: (a) the Mid-term Investment Framework, (b) the Planning and Budgeting Framework, and (c) the Mid-term Expenditure Framework.
Promoting Heritage for Ethiopia's Development Programme (PROHEDEV) ( 2020 - 2020 )
The main objective of the Promoting Heritage for Ethiopia's Development (PROHEDEV) programme was to intervene in the cultural sector to strengthen the socio-economic development of the country. The final evaluation carried out by Conseil Santé used the five DAC criteria (relevance, efficiency, efficiency, sustainability and impact), the two specific EU criteria (EU added value and coherence with the EU strategy and other actions of Member States) and with consideration for gender, the environment and climate change mainstreaming. A comprehensive and independent analysis of the performance carried out during the implementation of the PROHEDEV was conducted, in order to provide reflections for future EU cooperation in Ethiopia.

The general objectives of the present technical assistance were: (1) to provide the National Hygiene Institute (NHI) with modern statutes and missions that take into account its assets, the national policy and the context of biology in Moroccan public health, the European acquis and WHO recommendations; and (2) to strengthen, through reorganisation and restructuring, the NHI and the network of public health laboratories in order to create an efficient tool for the country’s public health, monitoring, epidemiological monitoring and health security, as a compliment to the existing clinical surveillance network, in conformity with the acquis communautaire and in the context of bringing the NHI closer to the international network of national laboratories currently being developed by the WHO for the country’s preparation and response to epidemics.
