- the modifying factors for the conversion of the mineral resources into mining reserves: dilutions and losses, processing performance, and the updated economic factors generated from the beneficiation tests.

Project Management Services for the Al Khabra phosphate mine ( 2014 - 2018 )
Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and support for the opening of the Al Khabra phosphate mine whose production is 15 Mt ROM per year.
MWSPC comprises a phosphate mine, beneficiation plant, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, purified phosphoric acid, sodium tri-polyphosphate (STPP) and di-calcium phosphate (DCP) plants in Umm Wu’al, northern Saudi Arabia, and ammonia, NPK and di ammonium phosphate (DAP) production plants in Ras Al Khair, in the Arabian Gulf.

This assignment’s objective was to evaluate the resources of the B6 phosphate deposit and the amenability of ore in the Wa'ad Al Shammal processing plant.
The study included fieldwork (coring, sampling, logging) and analysis of the results.

Study for the Institutional Reform of the Oil & Gas Sector ( 2012 - 2012 )
Oil & gas exploration works in Mali have reached an advanced stage. Further to the first encouraging results, the Mali government decided to look into the setting-up of a national oil & gas company as well as one or several entities that would be in charge of the definition and implementation of a national strategy for the petroleum and hydrocarbons sector.
SOFRECO assisted the government in achieving this goal; our team developed an appropriate institutional framework for the management of the different aspects of the oil & gas sector.

Identification of the main gaps in the mining sector’s current management by the different actors involved, and proposal of ways to better organise the sector.
