As part of the Regional Compact (USD 406 million, MCC), which aims to improve the efficiency of freight transport on the Cotonou-Niamey corridor, Ginger SOFRECO is providing project management assistance to the Benin Regional MCA. A team of 30 experts divided into four divisions (Programme, E&S, Technical and IS) is responsible for the overall management of the programme, overseeing technical designs, environmental and social studies, contracts and work compliance. To this end, Ginger SOFRECO has deployed a Programme Management Information System and is supporting the MCA until the various contracts are closed.

The final evaluation enables the measurement of the programme's results against the initial objectives. The evaluation must allow the DEU to have a clear view on the five evaluation criteria of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability and impact perspectives) and on the two specific EU criteria: the EU added value and the coherence of the action itself with the EU strategy in Guinea-Bissau.
