As part of the Regional Compact (USD 406 million, MCC), which aims to improve the efficiency of freight transport on the Cotonou-Niamey corridor, Ginger SOFRECO is providing project management assistance to the Benin Regional MCA. A team of 30 experts divided into four divisions (Programme, E&S, Technical and IS) is responsible for the overall management of the programme, overseeing technical designs, environmental and social studies, contracts and work compliance. To this end, Ginger SOFRECO has deployed a Programme Management Information System and is supporting the MCA until the various contracts are closed.
Final impact evaluation of the EU-funded primary health care programme in Lebanon ( 2023 - 2025 )
This evaluation serves to better understand the impact that the overall EU investment in the health sector since 2018 has had on the financial, institutional and technical capacity of the national health system (including the Ministry of Public Health), as well as the overall effect on access to services for people in need, including Syrian refugees and the Lebanese population. It seeks to inform the stakeholder groups on specific aspects of the health systems which have been strengthened and where the institutional, financial and technical gaps persist.
Master Plan for the El Maarouf Hospital in Moroni ( 2022 - 2022 )
Drafting of the master plan for the new El Maarouf Hospital under construction (for a capacity of 300 beds), to be based on the government's National Health Policy (2015-2024), relevant international practices and standards and the economic and political contexts, as well as the health map, including the current situation in terms of functionality, capacity and the technical platform of the health system's structures at all levels and services, geographical distribution, infrastructure, technical resources, human resources, utilisation, and the referral system. The master plan includes an implementation plan detailing the requirements, services, governance and a business plan that contributes to the successful implementation and operationalisation of the hospital.
