In the framework of the initial training component of the Health Human Resource Development Support Project (PADRHS), Conseil Santé was mandated by the University of Montreal to help develop a paramedical training offer that meets Congo's health human resource needs. This assignment resulted in: (1) the formulation of recommendations of priority areas for paramedical training taking into account the range of paramedical occupations: (2) the identification of training programmes that could be completed at the level of the paramedical schools and of capacities to be developed in the paramedical schools to meet these needs.
Mother and Child Health Support Project in Senegal ( 2016 - 2019 )
The purpose of the Mother and Child Health Support Project (PASME) is to help improve mother and child health in Senegal, particularly in the three regions of Louga, Kolda and Sedhiou.
The specific objectives of the project aim to:
1) Build the capacities of the national and regional teams of Louga in charge of RH programmes
2) Improve the quality of mother and newborn care, particularly in the regions of Louga, Kolda and Sedhiou
3) Increase the offer and demand of health care services for mothers and children and young people.
Support for the implementation of the Solidarity-Health-Sahel Initiative (I3S) ( 2015 - 2017 )
Niger's Solidarity-Health-Sahel Initiative (the I3S project, ‘Initiative Solidarité-Santé-Sahel’) supports the efforts of the government and its partners to achieve the MDGs. Its overall objective is to strengthen and ensure the sustainability of free child health care from 0 to 5 years old, and its specific objectives are to: i) simplify and secure the invoice circuit by deconcentrating the validation and payment of invoices to departmental or regional level; ii) improve the monitoring, control and governance of the system for exemption from payment of care at all levels, and; iii) establish innovative, sustainable funding mechanisms. It will work in synergy with the interventions of all actors involved, in order to consolidate the existing or planned child welfare system.

- To support stakeholders in the design and implementation of a new governance system for paramedical education;
- To support stakeholders in the design and implementation of an educational and organisational reform at the level of paramedical schools.
Development and implementation of a health information and decision-making system, integrating health watch, planning and management of health services (including human resources) and electronic file components ( 2013 - 2014 )
Under this contract, the Ministry plans to computerise part of this system, mainly concerning the electronic medical file (EMF). Once it has been introduced, the EMF, as well as being a source of strategic, privileged information for the decision-making and health information system, will be used as an operational tool with advanced features, designed to improve the quality of care and operational management of hospital services. It should contribute to improving management tools by making information accessible to health managers and professionals, at operational as much as strategic level.
Technical Assistance to Regional Capacity Development for Strengthening Resilience to Climate Change in the Health Sector in the Greater Mekong Subregion (formerly Mitigating Human Impact of Climate Change) ( 2016 - 2020 )

This project provides ad hoc technical assistance to the Health Sector Policy Support Project in Burundi - ‘Amagara Meza’. It has two objectives: support the establishment and operation of a future multi-donor basket fund for the sector, and support the development of a national health financing strategy.
Technical assistance is being provided to the Directorate-General for Resources and the Directorate for Planning through regular expertise in accounting and human resources, and ad hoc support in health financing and actuarial services.
