Conseil Santé will assist the General Directorate of Pharmaceutical Affairs (GDPA) in better defining and increasing its stewardship role. The project will participate in the improvement of the GDPA's governance. The team leader (long term expert) will coordinate the missions of the short term experts dealing with particular aspects of the pharmaceutical sector.
Development and implementation of an application software system for social assistance ( 2011 - 2012 )
This project aims to improve the efficiency with which social assistance services are delivered, by developing a targeted social assistance IT system that will improve the effectiveness of cash benefits and social welfare services in combating poverty.
At the core of this process is the need to better identify the poor, and to collect and store relevant information that will allow good decision-making both in benefit awarding and in the identification and implementation of appropriate social service provision.
The project will develop and implement a national information system accordingly.

The Programme to Support the Regionalisation, Deconcentration and Strengthening of Primary Health Care (REDRESS-P) aims to promote primary health care, and especially family medicine, by increasing the importance and role of family doctors as a major element of the referral system.
In this context, our support to the Ministry of Health will foster the development of genuine family medicine via three areas of intervention aiming to prepare: (i) the establishment of adapted clinical pathways, (ii) computerised management tools, and (iii) adequate training for doctors.
Implementation of the Primary Health Care Regionalisation, Deconcentration and Strengthening Support Programme (REDRESS-P) ( 2013 - 2015 )
Assistance to the Ministry of Health to (i) consolidate the decentralisation process, (ii) improve accessibility to a quality health care offer, (iii) improve the management of chronic diseases and mother and child health care in primary health services, (iv) develop collaboration between the public and private sectors, (iv) set up coordination mechanisms supporting the sector strategy, and (vi) accompany the Ministry of Health in the implementation and monitoring of the sector policy.

This project aims to improve the performance of Morocco’s health system in quantitative, qualitative and accessibility terms, in particular at the level of basic healthcare by ensuring the availability of a quality health service accessible to the most socially disadvantaged groups. The project focuses on three different pillars: (1) planning and forecasting human resources in the health sector; (2) building the management capacity of the human resource department at central level; (3) Regionalisation of Morocco’s human resource services.

This project aimed to build the capacity of the health sector's human resources at different levels of intervention (central, regional, wilaya and local), both to improve the performance of the healthcare system and support the reforms undertaken, and to modernise the management and production of healthcare to ensure equity, efficiency and coherence.
